Book One of my fiction has a new title: What’s Allowed Through.
If you read an early version, you knew it as In the Shadow of the Wolf. You may also not have realized it was the first book of a series at all.
I changed the title for a practical reason: it was too similar to other titles. As I got closer to publishing I looked at what else is out there, and a title should be easy to find and hard to confuse with other books.
The new title carries a deeper meaning that I would rather let the book reveal. I will say only that it is about what we choose to let into our lives.
The book now belongs to a series, The Truth and the Darkness. The cover reads “The Truth and the Darkness – Book One.” It is the same book.
More is planned. Book Two is in development under the working title What We Feed, and a young adult spinoff, Song Singers, is in development too. Working titles can change, as this one just did.
I’ll keep posting progress here in Author Updates.
